With 13 collections under her belt, Wright is no lightweight in the poetry arena. Her most recent collection, “Rising, Falling, Hovering,” was the international winner of the ninth annual Griffin Poetry Prize and has been aptly described as poetry that “reminds us what poetry is for.”  more

Jean-Mathieu Robine is an independent scholar, translator, professional genealogist, and political activist living in Paris. A direct descendant of Baron Haussmann, who was responsible for the urban renewal and modernization of Paris in the late nineteenth century, he studied at the Universities of Bordeaux and Paris.

Alec Soth is a renowned American photographer whose work is represented in major public and private collections and has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including the 2004 Whitney Biennial. He has two books, Sleeping by the Mississippi (2004), and Niagara (2006). Soth has worked on assignment for major international publications and in 2008 he became a full member of the Magnum Photos agency.  more

Michael Ray Charles is an African American painter born in Lafayette, Louisiana who lectures and exhibits nationally and internationally. His work is extensively documented in books, magazines and newspapers and represented in many public and private collections around the world. Charles is a Professor of Art in the department of Art and Art History at The University of Texas at Austin.  more
